Late April -- Memorial stadium construction in progress. On the
left you may be able 'make out' the tower of the new construction of
the eastern section of the bay bridge. Clearly you can see that
they gutted the interior of the stadium.

April 17. Carlitos, James and Junior on the steam train in Tilden.


Port of Richmond. Carlos in kayak. Took a while to find a
place to launch. The ship is Nassau Paradise. Built in
'84. Taking on scrap metal.

Below: Liberty ship Red Oak Victory. Constructed at the Kaiser
ship yards in Richmond in '44. Served through Vietnam.
