Point Pinole State Park.  2,315 Acres on the north bay 15 minutes from Berkeley.   Previously occupied by the Giant Powder Company, the first company to license Alfred Nobel's recipe.  The foundations of bunkers are scattered through the eucolyptus groves.  Ships carried the nitro/dynamite to south america and china.  The posts of the piers remain on the north point.
