Carlos at a the mountain bike state championships at a ranch just outside of Grass Valley.  3 brutal 6 mile laps.  We watched Lance and Levi and the rest of the peloton in the Tour of Ca scream through downtown Grass Valley just as Carlos' race was starting  a couple miles away.  Then raced back to watch Carlos.  Grass Valley is close to gold country.  The old homes perched .....  you have to see it.
