April 1981 from the NJ side
There is a lot to 'unpack' here.
The building to the right of WTC2,
between the two dark buildings
is the Woolworth Building. Built
1913. To the right of Tom, green
top, is 40 Wall Street. Now the
Trump Building, purchased in
1995. Owned in the 1980s by
Ferdinand Marcos. The lighter
colored skraper to the right is
Twenty Exchange, built 1931.
72 stories, for City Bank Farmer's
Trust (which became Citibank).
What were we doing in New Jersey?
The skyline is completely different now.
